GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD DOGS
GOOD FOOD FOR GOOD DOGS
We recommend feeding adult dogs (12+ months) approximately 2% of their body weight daily to meet their energy needs. Pregnant, lactating, or working dogs may require 4–5% of their body weight daily, while puppies typically need 5–6% of their body weight daily. This amount will naturally decrease as they grow and approach adulthood.
Please note, these guidelines provide a starting point for optimal caloric intake. Your dog’s ideal feeding amount may vary based on age, breed, size, weight, activity level, environment, and overall health.
For personalized recommendations, feel free to consult the Blue & Roo team. We’re happy to help determine the best feeding plan for your dog.
We recommend feeding puppies 2–3 times per day, while adults and seniors can be fed once daily.
Always ensure clean, fresh water is available for your dog
Keep frozen! All raw and cooked meat meals must remain frozen until you’re ready to thaw.
Thawing: Place your meal of choice in the fridge and allow 24 hours to thaw. Once thawed, meals should be consumed within 3–5 days and kept refrigerated at 4°C.
Quick thawing: If needed, meals can be thawed faster by submerging their sealed packaging in warm (not hot) water.
⚠️ Hygiene tip: Always wash your hands, preparation surfaces, and utensils thoroughly with hot, soapy water before and after handling raw food to maintain safe hygiene practices for you and your pets.
